The Deccan Furniture Company is a multidisciplinary design practice by Vaibhav Sawant Associates, emerging from a quiet curiosity about objects, spaces, and the stories they carry. Rooted in the layered cultural landscape of the Deccan, the studio approaches furniture not merely as utility, but as an extension of architecture and memory. Each piece is conceived as part of a larger spatial narrative—where material, proportion, and silence between forms become as meaningful as the objects themselves.
